I'm planning a return to Europe for next year, and am wondering if taking a GPS unit with me would be advisable. Last time I went, I was stymied by cities like Prague, where I had no idea how to pronounce the poorly-signposted street names and wound up lost for the better part of my stay there. How precise are these units these days, and how much use would they be in a situation like the one I describe? |

OK, if this argument isnt for you, maybe you'll just decide to give up on the gadget when you see its price... (around $250... gulp! a touristic guide would be cheaper lolol) |
